Affiliate disclosure

The short version: SawChainSize.com does not currently earn any commission from the links on this site. Outbound retailer links carry no affiliate tags and earn nothing if you click or buy. The site may join affiliate programs in future; if it does, that will be disclosed clearly here and next to the affected links, before any tagged link goes live.

Current status

• No active affiliate relationships. SawChainSize.com is not currently a participant in the Amazon Associates program, Acme Tools' affiliate program, RepairClinic's affiliate program, or any other retailer or manufacturer affiliate program.
• Retailer links are plain links. Links to Oregon Products, Acme Tools, Amazon and other retailers are untagged and earn no commission. They are there because they are useful places to look for a chain that matches the specification, not because they pay.
• No compensation for listings. No retailer or manufacturer has paid for placement, a review, or a mention on this site.

If this changes

The site may in future join affiliate programs, which pay a commission on qualifying purchases made after clicking a tracked link, at no extra cost to you. Before any affiliate link is published, this page will be updated to name the program, and the affected links will be labelled as affiliate links. Programs will never be named here until the site has actually been accepted into them. If a retailer or its network places a tracking cookie when you click a tagged link, we will say so in our Privacy Policy.

What this does and does not influence

• It does not influence any specification on this site. Specs come from manufacturer manuals, fit-up charts and chain-maker data, per our verification policy.
• It does not change the price you pay, now or under any future affiliate arrangement.
• Products are listed because they match the specification on the page, in the sizes the page covers. If a chain does not fit the spec, it is not listed as a buying option, whether or not it would ever pay us.

Prices and availability

Prices shown on this site are dated examples from listings checked on the date stated next to them; they are not live. The price and availability at the retailer's checkout are the accurate ones. Product names, chain designations and trademarks belong to their owners — see the footer notice.
